Every Little Thing Counts
Yesterday, I had science as the last class of the day. Everyone was itching to finally get home for the weekend and not very many people were paying attention. To get our attention, my science teacher usually claps in this pattern. clap-clap-clapclapclap. After everyone responded with the same clap pattern, the boy sitting next to me did the "We Will Rock You" style beat. Slowly, more and more people started following suit, and eventually, someone started singing the words. That made me think. Can one little thing, someone starting the beat, turn into a big thing, a whole class singing and beating together? It's like the snowball effect. And this is what the world needs. One person starting something cool, fun, or good, and slowly getting more and more people doing it as well.
