Pronunciations

Pronunciations are tricky things. I say ukulele rather than yukuhlele. I don't know which is right, but I know I've heard more people say yukuhlele for the word ukulele. Another example of tricky pronunciations is for the word egg. I say egg, but I know a plethora of people who say aig. It bothers me, but then I remember how I don't like being corrected for ukulele, so I let them have all the aigs they want in the conversation. I know two people who say munster rather than monster, and I know a few people who say pin rather then pen. I guess it must just be the accents of the area they grew up, but my dad has lost his New England accent after living in the area we do not for many years. What are some pronunciation disputes you have?
