Music
Lately I have been listening to a lot of music because I recently got a cord to connect my computer to my Brookstone Stack to play my iTunes. The artists I have been listening to are The Beatles, The Killers, and Pink Floyd. I think my favorite band is The Beatles because I've known them the longest and I've gotten used to their creativity and wit. I like Pink Floyd because the songs are definitely not boring. They are quite interesting. I like The Killers because they come up with some nice tunes. The albums I have been listening to are Revolver (The Beatles), Sam's Town (The Killers), and Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd). I would suggest all of these bands and these albums. They are all very good.

Finding Forrester
There is a great movie out there in the world of movies called Finding Forrester. It is about a boy who finds this amazing author named William Forrester. It goes through the build-up, there's the climax, and then there's the resolution. One great thing about this movie that puts it out from many others is that it feel so real. It doesn't feel like Sean Connery and Rob Brown, it feels like William Forrester and Jamal Wallace. Finding Forrester was an amazing movie that would do everyone good to see.
Another Girl Scout Trip
This trip was luckily not to a boat or ship of any kind like the last one. I will not give away the exact location, but I will say it was in the Appalachian Mountains. It was beautiful there. The entire area was so nice. There were hills, mountains, rocks, streams, and waterfalls. I would love to go back there anytime. I went there with my girl scout troop. Not everyone in my troop appreciates nature or likes to be silent. We all went on a hike at one point, and if there was any chance we'd see some wildlife, they ruined it with their constant talking. Of course, I can't blame all of the noise on them. I was talking as well, they were just doing most of it.
Have you been on any good vacations recently? Where did you go and what made them awesome?

Dolphin Sighting
I haven't posted anything in a while. Sorry about that. I went on two vacations already! Gasp! They were both only overnight trips, though. The first one is when I saw the dolphins. I will talk about the second vacation in another post. Anyway, I was at the beach. The exact location will stay a secret for safety reasons. Two of my friends and I were on a kayak. We were having a ball jumping on and off the kayak. People on the shore started yelling something that we couldn't understand. We assumed they were saying goldfish. We were slightly confused by this. Suddenly, we heard a gasping/blowing noise and turned to see what it was. All three of us screamed when we were surprised by the gray dolphins swimming past us. We all jumped onto the kayak as fast as possible. We were freaked out for a few more seconds, then calmed down when we realized they were only dolphins, minding their own business, swimming by in their pods. We watched in awe. They were beautiful, even with the scars on their backs from humans or some other being doing them harm. They swam very close to us, and we couldn't help but fall in love with them. As soon as we were sure they were done passing through, we started on our way back to shore. That was my first dolphin sighting ever, and I hope it won't be my last.

Summer is Here
Today was the last day of school for me. At school, it seemed like there were still many days left until June 21, but in reality, it really was the last day of school. That string of words has so much meaning to so many people. I'm not sure if I'm relieved I don't have to get up early and go to school everyday, or if I'll miss seeing so many people. At least I'll be going to summer camps. There are so many activities I'll be doing all summer, it's like I'll never get any rest all year.

Boredom is an Epidemic
I have been bored for a while now. I went for a bike ride, I made a video, I checked my email, I went on YouTube, I listened to music, I drew, I read, I did everything in my ability on my list of boredom saviors. I am still moderately bored. I am not ready to take on the summer.
Biking is Most Definitely Exercize
Back on the topic of one of my other posts-
On Friday, I rode my bike to school with one of my friends. It was a breeze on the way there, like it was on my test run, and like on the test run, the way back was torture. The backpack on my back didn't make it easier. I definitely enjoyed it, and it's good to exercize my legs, but that harsh hill is definitely a lot to deal with. I think I'll bike to school again soon!
Does anyone else bike to school or bike a lot? Let me know.

Summer
Summer Vacation is coming up and I'm not sure how bored I'm going to be. Last year and the rest of the years before that, I had a sitter looking after me when my parents were at work. I'm old enough to look after myself now, so we don't have her anymore. This year I will be on my own a lot when my brother is at camps and I am not. I'm going to be at camps, but he will probably be with friends a lot more than me. I think I'll have the whole house to myself a lot and I really have no idea how bored I'm going to be. Anyone who actually reads my blogs can look forward to a lot of posts coming up!

Timing
When I post something, the time is off by three hours. It has been driving me crazy. Of course, time is not tangible and might not be a real thing, just something of our imaginations. When people ask me what time it is, I occasionally say "Time to get a watch" or "What ever time Chuck Norris says it is." When I'm feeling nice, I say the time that it "actually" is. Who's to say what time is "actually" is, though?

Private Blogs
So far, I haven't told any of my friends that I have a blog. I don't really know why I haven't. I guess I want to keep it to myself. Also, they might say, " ________, you have a YouTube channel already! Why don't you just make more vlogs?" to which I would say, "It's easier to say things in a blog. Vlogs seem up-close and personal. I also have more fun typing something than filming a video of myself, editing the whole video, and then waiting for it to finally upload to YouTube. What is your opinion on vlogs versus blogs?
Field Hockey
I just got back from my field hockey practice. It's a recent sport my city has started. I did it last summer, the first summer they had it, and I loved it. Not very many people did it last year. This year, it seems like almost everyone is or wants to be a part of it. I think it's cool that so many people like it, but it was cool being one of the few field hockey players last summer. I think it's sprung up like lacrosse, a sport I don't play. Do you or any of your friends/enemies play field hockey?

Biking is Definitely Exercize
An hour ago I embarked on a journey to my school on my bike. I live about 3 miles from it and it's downhill on the way there. Unfortunately, on the way back, there is no downhill at all and it is a harsh hill. It only took me about 10 or 15 minutes to get there, but I think it took about 20 or 25 minutes to get back. My legs sure got exercise. I went on this journey to see how long it might take me to ride to school in the morning. My mom says I can bike to school next year, but it will probably be very hard to get home in the afternoons with heavy binders on my back up that long, steep, hill.
Being Bored
A lot of times, people are bored and don't know what to do about it, or just don't want to do anything about it. I thought I should maybe put a list of simple solutions to help those who actually want to remedy their condition.
-Read
-Check your email
-Watch videos on YouTube
-Write a blog
-Ride your bike
-Go to a museum
-Hang out with your friends
-Write a story
-Go on twocansandstring.com
-Read Hyperbole and a Half on BlogSpot
-Draw
Those are only a few things you can do. I hope this helps!

Forgetfulness
Sometimes I do things and then forget that I did them. I think it happens to a lot of people. Maybe they forgot that they put something somewhere, like a pencil behind their ear. I forgot that I took a shower. Crazy, right? There is proof that I just took a shower because my hair is wet, but I don't remember taking the shower at all. This happens to me often, and it drives me crazy. Does this happen to you very much?
Extreme Heat
Today I had a soccer game on a turf field. The day was hot to begin with, but the turf makes everything hotter. Some people were trying to remedy their hot feet by pouring water in their cleats, but I did not. I don't like dealing with wet cleats, even if it relieves me of the hot pain if turf on black cleats. Also, I realized that if I pour cold water in hot cleats, the turf will continue making the cleats hot and will then make the cold water hot. I guess you can't escape the wrath of extreme heat.
Luckily, we won the game and finished the soccer season i third place, a big improvement from last season when we finished in twelfth.

Girl Scout Trip
Today my friend took me to a harbor with her younger sister's girl scout troop. We went on a "pirate ship." My friend and I were too old for the shenanigans of Poppet and her crew. The younger troop squirted Pirate Pete with water, got the treasure from the mermaid's lair, and got Pirate Pete's soda from the water. It was called something, but unfortunately I forget what it was. I think I was there to give my friend moral support. If I had to be there on my own, I would have died almost immediately. That's one problem with growing older. There's a period where you feel too mature to play the younger kids. After that period, you go back to feeling like playing with the younger kids is cool and you try to play like them and entertain them.
My First Post
Hello everyone who might stumble across this! I am not aiming for people to read this blog, but of course I'd like it if people get hooked on my pointless blogs of the future. I probably won't have a theme of blog posts, but i don't know yet. How could I? I still haven't even gotten past the introduction! First I'll tell you a little about me so you might know a bit of (hopefully helpful) background knowledge.
1) I play the cello, piano, and ukulele.
2) I have a YouTube channel.
3) I have a problem with correcting people. I'm trying to cut back on it.
4) I am two grade levels high in math.
5) I am a female.
6) I have a brother.
7) I have a guinea pig, and I wish I had fancy mice and a cat as well.
8) Some of my friends have blogs.
That's all for my introduction of myself and my blog. Thanks for reading!
